A Racine woman sues for divorce over her husband kicking her pug and forbidding gum chewing. The Milwaukee Sentinel also notes a divorce case from Racine tied to domestic strife, reflecting social attitudes toward marriage and separation in the period.
Starting next Sunday the southern fast mail from Baltimore via Western Maryland will depart at 3 a.m. instead of 5 a.m. A connection at Hagerstown with a Shenandoah Valley southbound train leaves at 6.10 a.m. This enhances direct communication with the South via the East Tennessee system.
