Myersville Council backs bridge closure plan and farm plat
Myersville mayor and four council members vote unanimously to urge State Highway Administration to repair Md 17 bridge over Catoctin Creek in three months, requiring full closure. A six month option keeping one span open is rejected. The council also approves Flook Farm housing plat with some Planning Zoning concerns and welcomes Rasberry Patch arts and crafts shop in the old post office with a five-space parking deal. 1987 town finances show minor losses from higher water costs but overall sound condition.
