Rainfall tops one inch in Frederick region
The Frederick region received 1.1 inches of rain today as umbrellas and rain boats appeared. Robbery at Marlow's Liquor Store Nets About $700
City police seek two black men in an armed robbery at Marlow's Liquor Store at West Fifth and North Bentz Streets just after 10 p.m. Monday. One man flashed a revolver and the other a sawed-off shotgun as Franklin Hildebrand, alone in the store, opened the cash register. They forced him to face the wall while they emptied the register and the safe, taking about $700 in cash. Both suspects in their early 20s are described as clean shaven, one about 5'5" in a brown coat, the other about 5'8" in dark clothes.
