Many Win Prizes In Armistice Day Parade
Nearly three thousand people joined the Armistice parade by the American Legion Francis Scott Key Post through Frederick on Market Street. Nine divisions marched with bands, floats, autos, and veterans, as spectators lined the route and some watched from windows. Judging, prizes worth over $200 were awarded for best appearance and costumes with winners announced by A Y Bennett and others.
