Eleven-Downs Tank Corps Teap Triumphs Over Y M C A
A battered field hosted a rain soaked game between the Y M C A and the Tank Corps from Camp Meade. The Y M C A won 19 to 0 as Leichert scored twice and Trout added a late TD. Quinn kicked the extra point and the contest featured strong play from Leichert, Trevor, Powers and Grove on the locals, with solid defense from Myers and Bow ers. The crowd filled the stands despite poor weather and the game was well officiated by Landauer with Captain Lewis Headenesman and Harold Grove among the timekeepers.
