Frederick Officials Break Ground on Rosemont Avenue Project

Frederick officials held a groundbreaking Tuesday for 12 miles of Rosemont Avenue improvements costing 2.3 million dollars. The project, starting November 14, adds traffic capacity and turn lanes, with pavement reconstruction, curb and gutters, sidewalks, utilities including storm drain and waterline, and traffic signal upgrades at Montevue Lane, between Military Road and Tuscarora Drive, slated to finish by the end of 1995.
