Plan For Germany If Conference Fails
An American delegation spokesman at the deputy foreign ministers meeting said the United States has a plan for a working economic arrangement with Germany in case the German peace talks among the Big Four collapse. The plan has been discussed privately in Britain. Gen. Lucius D. French production in late 1946 and January 1947 ran about 90 percent of Germany.
