Exservice Men Graves Decorated for Armistice Day
The Ladies' Auxiliary of the American Legion decorated the 16 ex-service graves at Mt Olivet Cemetery with chrysanthemums two days before Armistice Day. A short service and prayer were led by chaplain Mrs G M Crambaugh. The auxiliary plans a bake sale at Church and Market streets and a poppy drive led by Frederick High School girls under Miss Lenore Hammond to fund relief work for veterans and their families. They aim to sell 500 artificial poppies to bolster their treasury.
