Three Hurt In Head-On Crash on U S Route 40
Three people were injured, none seriously, in a head-on collision on the National Highway near Frederick. Alvey Toms suffered the worst injuries and was taken to Frederick City Hospital. Paul Spencer and a colored man from Mount Airy had noncritical injuries. A Ford and a Buick were involved after wet roads may have caused the crash.
