Two Hurt In City Accident In Frederick
Two 18-year-olds, Donald Miller and Gloria Miller, were treated and released at Frederick Memorial Hospital after a car ran off East South Street at 2:39 am. Miller, driving a 1961 sedan, crossed the center line at high speed, clipped a pole, and struck another, causing about 800 dollars in damage. Miller was charged with driving faster than reasonable. Investigated by Sgt Wheeldon and Officer Darkis.

Maryland Plan Would Add Seats For City At Expense of Rural Areas
A reapportionment plan approved by an 18 member Maryland legislative committee would expand the Senate from 29 to 41, boosting Baltimore City from six to nine seats and shifting seats to metropolitan counties. Man Suffers Rifle Shot In Stomach Near Woodbine
