Shattered Teeth Testimony Marks Start of Sheppard Trial
In Cleveland two shattered front teeth of Marilyn Sheppard were shown in court as her osteopath husband faced a first degree murder trial. Defense counsel Corrigan used the cross examination to question the autopsy and suggested the investigation was bungled. He claimed a multiple weapon could have caused the head wounds while acknowledging the coroner’s office did only a microscopic check for rape and not a chemical test.
