County to appoint complex architect for courthouse project
Frederick County officials plan to hire a programming architect for an eight million dollar courthouse complex by December 1. The Citizens Courthouse Advisory Committee met at Winchester Hall to review space needs with Judge Samuel W. Barrick and agreed to reconvene with the states attorney, sheriff, and county planner to refine required spaces. The panel urged the State Planning Department to specify which agencies will occupy the building by November 25 to aid programming through to the year 2000.
