Award of Contract for New Building on West Patrick Street
The contract for a new store on West Patrick Street has been awarded to Sean, Rorek and Company, a well known local concern. A building permit issued by the city engineer allows relocation of the hat store across the street and construction of a two story brick and cement structure with a rear basement extending about 118 feet. Completion is targeted by next March, with work starting immediately and the project expected to boost city construction totals to a multi year high.
