Nobel Prizes To Americans In 1955 Chemistry Physics Awarded
Stockholm announced three American winners. Vincent du Vigneaud of Cornell Medical College earns the 1955 chemistry prize for oxytocin and vasopressin synthesis. Willis E. Lamb of Stanford and Polykarp Kusch of Columbia share the physics prize for inside-atom measurements.
