Five Auto Accidents On Route 15
Wet highways in northern county caused five motor vehicle crashes within four hours Friday afternoon. County Road Program For Year Given
The County Commissioners approved a construction program for the coming year focusing on 24.4 miles of county highway work and the construction of one bridge across Catoctin Creek between Jefferson and Broad Run. Found With Gas Jets On Market Street Woman Recovering
Police found Dorothy Morgan McCormack unconscious in a kitchen with the gas stove jets open at 509 North Market Street. Her mother, Ruth Morgan, said she found her daughter at about 1:30 a.m. in ill health, and Doroth y was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital where she recovered with medicine. Gas fumes filled the house. Mrs. McCormack later regained consciousness.
