No Definite Plan for Germany Postwar Policy

Dr. Milford Stough of Dickinson College told the Rotary Club that Germany should not be treated with sentimental softness but possibly dismembered into several parts. He urged an international force to supervise the zone for decades, and predicted the European conflict would end by next spring. He also outlined Soviet aims, including ice free ports and territorial gains, while suggesting no immediate friction with the United States. The talk drew about twenty guests and Rotarians as well as Rev. S. B. Johnston, newly elected Rotarian.
