Cuyahoga toll second highest in Coast Guard history

The report from Dar es Salaam states Ugandan invading forces and Tanzanian defenders are in heavy fighting near Bukoba by Lake Victoria. Two American archaeologists were among the wounded. Westerners’ fate is unclear. Bukoba lies about five miles from Uganda and 650 miles west of Dar es Salaam. The Ugandans, aided by tanks and heavy artillery, pushed through Minziro Kakunyu and Mutukula areas on Monday.
