Two Kalled In Train Wreck

Funeral services for William Harold Scott Jr 24 of this city will be held Monday at 2 oclock at the funeral home 106 East Church street. Interment place will be announced. Scott an electrician by trade was found wounded in an alley on West Patrick street about 24 hours before his death and died at Frederick Memorial Hospital around 11 45 Thursday night. He told police he had shot himself with a 20 gauge shotgun. The family noted despondency over working and living conditions. He was a son of William H Scott Sr and Madeline C Knipple Scott Sr of Jury and a member of Evangelical Lutheran church and Mt City Lodge No 29 Knights of Pythias. He recently worked at Snow White Grill and Lee Grill. He is survived by his wife Doris Yert Scott two daughters Nancy and Gloria Jean Scott a brother Jesse F Scott in the U S Army Greenfield South Carolina. The body is at MIA Etchison and Son funeral home.
