Man killed in single car crash near Adamstown
A 47 year old Frederick County insurance agent Burt A. Andrews died early Friday in a single vehicle crash at the Lily Pool and Park Mills roads T intersection near his Adamstown home. He was eastbound at high speed, struck an embankment, and died at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Police attributed the fatal crash to driver error. Andrews was alone and had celebrated his 47th birthday two days earlier. He worked as a general agent for Franklin Life Insurance Company, office 418 W. Patrick St.
