Two Long Terms For Thefts In Frederick Case
Two men described as terrorizing the community with a wholesale spree of larcenies from schools stores and individuals including four automobiles and a bicycle were sentenced in Circuit Court. William Fauble 22 of Frederick Junction received ten years while John Stillions 24 of East Fourth Street was given up to six years in the Roxbury Reformatory. The judge said the crimes demanded severe penalties and suspended some informations while noting the need to deter others. Evidence showed more than 5000 in stolen goods with many recovered including vehicles and school property.

Man Eludes Police After 2 Hour Chase Across Frederick and Hagerstown
Police pursued a speeding car with Ohio plates from Frederick through red lights at up to 70 mph then onto Route 40 and into Hagerstown. The craft sped in excess of 100 mph, set up a road block was eluded, and the car was found abandoned in Hagerstown later. Officers identified the vehicle by license number and began ownership checks.

One Time Magistrate In Trouble Again
Fern dale May 29 Martin J Yamin 28 year old former Baltimore substitute magistrate with a long record of traffic violations was charged today with reckless driving speeding and operating an automobile under the influence of alcohol. Put under 204 34 collateral for a Saturday hearing. Governor McKeldin struck Yamin s name from the substitute magistrates list last August after he was fined on a traffic charge. The conviction rates were reversed by the Court of Appeals. Yamin had been fined in ten previous cases.

Boston May 29 The Boston Post reports Mrs Marion L Manning of South Weymouth is believed by doctors to be expecting five babies. Hospital officials say she is not at term and not currently a patient. Dr Robert A Ryan had advised preparation for five after earlier consultations. Birth is expected mid August but could occur earlier.

Bloodmobile visits Frederick for two June days
The Frederick county Red Cross chapter will bring its blood donor program to the end of the fiscal year with a two day visit of the bloodmobile in June, on the 16th and 17th. Appointment cards will be mailed by June 6. Mrs. Paul L Willard, chairman, urged volunteers to notify if appointments cannot be filled to avoid absenteeism and to allow the schedule to be used by other donors.

Unlicensed Truck Driver Fined and Jailed in Wreck Case
Arthur Lewis Williams of Pembroke Va the truck driver behind a Sunday morning North Market Street crash was found guilty of reckless driving and operating without a license. He received 30 days and 100 dollars for reckless driving and 30 days plus 50 dollars for the license charge. Williams was sentenced to 60 days in jail and 150 dollars in fines in Peoples Court before Magistrate Wilbur F Sheffield Jr. The collision with a Martinsburg man’s truck caused 800 dollars in damage. Passenger Stanley E Wood of Christiansburg was treated for head injuries at Frederick Memorial Hospital. The court also heard non support and multiple traffic violation cases.

Cars damaged in two accidents Wednesday
