A noon blaze at the home of Afr. and Mrs. Henry H. Haines on Wilson Avenue caused heavy smoke and possible smoke damage. An electric ice box in the kitchen sparked the fire, burning a kitchen floor and walls, with loss estimated between 1000 and 2000 dollars.
