Ghostly castle tale as Tennessee river town hosts a ghost
In Winchester Tennessee an old English style castle named Hundred Oaks Castle stands near the Cumberland River. Built beginning in 1891 by Arthur Marks it later fell to the Paulist Fathers and then to Hal and Alma Reagan who bought it in 1977. It now draws 40 to 50 visitors daily as Alma Reagan restores rooms and the castle remains a tourist draw with a rumored ghost lingering in its halls.

Glade Valley Lions Give 82000 to Eye Bank and Clinic Update
Glade Valley Lions Club President Elect Jim Baker presented Ted Griffith of the Maryland Eye Bank with a check for 82000. A histoplasmosis study funded in 1978 by the club was reported, with Dr. Ron Smith directing a Johns Hopkins Wilmer Clinic collaboration and ongoing work by Dr. Travis Meredith at Wisconsin University Medical School. A June 1 screening clinic for 3 and 4 year olds is planned at Walkersville Lutheran Church.
