Argentinians Rescued By Good Neighbor Effort in Frederick
A stranded Argentinian father and son were aided by Hood College staff Camp Detrick airmen and Maryland police after their 1914 Ford broke down near Braddock Heights. Interpreters from Hood College eased needs, leading to a temporary tow and transport toward Washington. The pair, touring the U S since 1951, were documented with a scrapbook of press clippings and received hospitality from local residents.
