Ottawa May 20 Canada’s retiring Governor General Lon Derby received a farewell address from the Royal Secretariat. The message conveyed sympathy for the late Earl Derty and optimism for successor Lord Abdnellan, with pledges of personal interest in Canadian prosperity and future ties to the Dominion.
