Washington May 24 Conferees reach a compromise tax reduction bill adding 222,495,000 in annual savings to Federal taxpayers, mainly corporations. Corporations gain 135,450,000 of the total cut with the rate dropping from 12 12 to 12 percent and exemptions rising from 2,000 to 3,000 dollars. Individual rates stay mostly unchanged though the earned income credit rises from 20,000 to 30,000.
