AAU Women Branch Meeting Highlights Educational Roles
The Frederick AAUW chapter hosted Dr Mina Kerr executive secretary of the National AAUW who spoke on the group’s history aims and international work. Attendees met on campus with refreshments and joined by guests including Miss Katherine Arnold and Dr J H Apple. A separate report notes Margaret Frakes, a child from the Episcopal Orphans Home, was injured by a motorcycle on Igus Street but escaped with minor bruises after care at Frederick City Hospital.
