Weedon pleads guilty in local man's death
Larry Michael Weedon 20 of Sagner Avenue Frederick pleaded guilty in circuit court to manslaughter in the Feb 15 death of 63 year old Merril Lewis Crone. He faces up to ten years and is held without bond. He also faces robbery and assault charges. A May 30 trial date was set for co-defendants in a related incident.

Rocky Ridge Man Held For Shooting Brother
State police jailed 25 year old Robert Henry Springer Jr for allegedly shooting his younger brother Scott in the left shoulder with a 9 mm pistol during an argument at their Rocky Ridge home on Md 77 east of Old Frederick Road.
