Elevator disaster in Pittsburg kills four at dancing academy
At 1026 Fifth Avenue a cage elevator snapped dropping 50 feet during a banquet by the Pennsylvania Electro Mechanical Institute. One man and three women died, five or six injured, many badly bruised or with internal injuries as the crowded fifth and sixth floors were filled with members and guests. Identifications were difficult due to severe injuries.

Bloodhounds chase fiend near Manchester
