Cascade Legion Joins Memorial Service at Cascade Bethel Cemetery
American Legion Post 239 Cascade will participate in the May 29 memorial service at Bethel Cemetery starting at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Claude H. Corr Sr. coordinates with area ministers including Rev. Robert Rhoades and Rev. Clarence McGaha. Speakers include Rev. Carl Peterson and David Wade. An eighty five piece Catoctin High School band from Thurmont will play music under Prof. James Worsley's direction.

Law for Laymen offered at Montgomery College Takoma Park
A noncredit community service course titled Law for Laymen will run evenings at Montgomery College Takoma Park starting June 15. Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 7 30 to 9 30 p m through July 22. Recreation Show At Sabillasville Planned At School
Physical Education instructor George Kuhn announces a spring recreation program at Sabillasville Elementary School. Beginning Tuesday evening May 25 from 6 30 to 9 30 p m the family oriented program invites youngsters teens and adults and will not replace Little League. Volunteers including college students will run activities such as volleyball softball table tennis square dancing and archery and reading facilities may be added.
