Drunk Driver Pleads Guilty In West Street Crash
James L. Gochenour of Braddock Heights pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and reckless driving after a collision on West South Street. He was fined $150 and jailed 15 days for the DUI plus 45 days in default. He also received $50 in fines and 15 days for the reckless charge, total 75 days in jail. A Frederick girl described as under a spell by her grandmother was placed under Juvenile Court jurisdiction and committed to the Children's Aid Society for foster care. A physician said the girl showed no physical illness and the issue was social. A 12 year old Brunswick girl accused of petty theft was also committed to CAS for foster placement.
