McKeldin undecided about conference on school ruling
ANNAPOLIS May 21 Governor McKeldin has not yet decided whether to attend a meeting of southern executives called by Gov. Stanley of Virginia to discuss the Supreme Court school segregation ruling. A back breaking schedule delayed a decision after a state yacht trip and prior Baltimore engagement. He plans to confer with State Superintendent Dr. Thomas G. Pullen Jr. before accepting. Attorney General Rollins declined a 17 state Atlanta session saying the gathering could circumvent the Court. McKeldin earlier expressed Marylanders would accept the decision.
