Walkersville High to Hold Graduation and Sermon Events
Walkersville High School plans commencement week activities beginning with a sermon to the graduates at 7 30 p m June 4 at Evangelical United Brethren Church. Senior assembly on June 1 at 1 30 p m with Greduation exercises at 8 p m June 4 in the high school auditorium. Dr vid W Zimmerman will address the seniors assisted by principal honors and a class history by Wayne Hevner. Dorothy Lambdin and Rev Brown participate in leadership roles.

Jaycees donate 160 to Welfare Board for children's work
The Frederick Jaycees presented a 100 dollar check to the Welfare Board to aid a children’s program at Model Church. A program included duets I'll Walk With God and Roses sung by Lois Hawne and Martha Dinerman with gifts to Mrs. John M Smith and Mrs Gebe Zimmerman. Door prizes went to several attendees including Hallie Poole and Ray Weller.
