Fats Shield Mind, Study Finds in Mental Recoveries
Boston May 20 A report to the American Psychiatric Association shows fats including lipoids acids and cholesterol aid mental recovery. In a Yale study 142 mental cases found high blood fats in most who recovered and low fats in those who did not regain sanity. The pyknic body type correlated with higher fats and better recuperation, though diets high in fat do not treat mental illness.
