Mayo Brothers Donate Half Their Incomes To Aid Public
In a remarkable commitment, the Mayo brothers explain they have set aside half of their income since 1894, living on modest salaries and dedicating the rest to medical training and the Foundation. They state neither brother touches more than their salaries, with the balance funding the Mayo Foundation aims to train 300 professionals and support 1400 more awaiting positions. They emphasize service over self and refuse to sue patients over fees.
