Middletown approves pool variance with yard move
The Board of Zoning Appeals granted Annalisa Nairn a variance for an 18 foot above ground pool if moved to the back yard to satisfy setbacks. She must relocate within 60 days and not use the pool until moved. The decision followed concerns that her 33 foot wide lot cannot meet 18 foot side yard and 30 foot house setbacks. The pool would then be centered and at least 7 feet from side lines and more than 30 feet from the house.
