Sniper Fires On Stove Near Lantz Maryland

City Votes To Annex 322 Acres Of Land
The Frederick City board of aldermen approved annexing more than 322 acres northeast of the present limits. The tract includes 213 acres Peters farm and other properties, a staged annexation begun after stalled wider plans. Annexation becomes effective July 5 pending petitions. Equipment Stolen From Model House
A thief stole a riding power mower roofing shingles and aluminum shutters from a model house in Lewistown Thursday morning. State Police said the thief gained entry by breaking a rear door window at the home of Lee Saylor. A truck was used to haul the goods away. No suspects have been found.
