Hood community honors retiring Hood College president
The Hood College community held a reception in Brodbeck Hall to honor Dr Martha Church on the eve of her retirement after twenty years as president. Shirley Peterson will succeed her in mid June as officials noted Church’s long tenure and impact on women’s education, with plans to remain active as a senior scholar and travel to China and Nepal.
