Unangst Wins Higher USDA Honor for Service
Owen C. Unangst, district conservationist for USDA Soil Conservation Service in Frederick County since 1990, received the Superior Service award at USDA's 37th annual honors. The Mount Airy native was cited for leadership in a highly effective soil and water conservation program, with attendance by family and district officials at the Departmental Auditorium.
