Cambridge youths John Hurlock and Norman Stewart, 18, were arrested after entering a Frederick lawyer’s home on Rockwell Terrace in the early hours. They took food and coats including a Red Cross coat and Dr Edward Thomas’s overcoat, then fled on West Patrick street. Police say they will face burglary charges for the Storm home entry and larceny for Dr Thomas’s coat.

Two Drivers In Car Accident Convicted
Two drivers in an accident on Route 40 nine miles east of Frederick were found guilty by Magistrate Edward J. Smith in Peoples Court. Mack Chester Brewer of Savage Maryland was fined ten dollars and costs for parking on the highway. Allie Leon Runkles of Mr. Airy Route 2 was fined ten dollars and costs for reckless driving. Herbert H. Burmett of Hagerstown was acquitted of failing to keep to the right in a second collision two miles west of Frederick. Charles Goldberg of Baltimore and Albert Williams of Rockville forfeited five dollars and costs on exceeding 30, charged by Trooper DeWitt.
