A New Jersey Central freight crew smashed into a burning house at Pe nobscot Allentown to rescue Michael O’Brien and his wife who were unconscious in the hallway. Mule Kicks Driver to Death in Buck Run Quarry
Jeremiah Mahoney aged eighteen was kicked by a mule in Buck Run quarry near Pottsville Pennsylvania. He dropped his cap and while stooping to retrieve it the animal kicked him, breaking his neck and killing him instantly. Miners nearby heard a final scream before workers found him dead.
