Frederick County deputies arrested Dino Richard Wojtczak after a late night party at 11384 Canary Lane Tramsville. A 5 inch switch blade was found in his pocket along with 2.6 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia. He was charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and released on own recognizance.
A Severn juvenile was arrested Saturday by a Frederick County deputy on charges of possessing alcohol marijuana and drug paraphernalia according to sheriff s office reports. The deputy on patrol saw four juveniles at a pond near Hamburg and Fishing Creek roads one holding a beer. A vehicle search yielded five grams of marijuana and a pipe containing the drug.
A Walkersville area man escaped injury in a Saturday crash at East Patrick Street and Key Avenue Frederick. Bruce A. Holly of Harpers Ferry was charged with failure to stop and yield, driving while intoxicated, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after police search during arrest. Officer Wade Brown investigated.
Three traffic crashes Saturday left injured. Steven Morris 19 Walkersville was charged with negligent driving after a Water Street Road rollover near Daysville Road. Albert Ellwanger 44 Baltimore faces failure to stop after a Water Street Road collision with William Brock 27 Silver Spring and Gregory Mescha 45 Baltimore treated and released. April Sittinger 27 Emmitsburg collided on Matters Station Road with Robin Anders 23 Woodsboro. Sittinger treated in Gettysburg and Anders admitted to Frederick Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
