A sedan overturning on the Frederick road near Catonsville Wednesday night killed Louise Wagner and injured seven others, including four adults. Grafton Clay 79 Dies After Suicide Attempt in New Market
Grafton Clay a retired farmer of New Market died Wednesday evening at about 5 30 after attempting suicide by cutting his throat eight days earlier. He had been in ill health and morbid about his condition. He left home to an outbuilding on Tuesday the 8th and tried to end his life. He was found and later taken to the hospital then to Dr. C. E. Clay’s home. He is survived by wife, one son Dr. C. E. Clay, and one daughter Mrs. N Hof Union Borough. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock. W E Faconer had charge of arrangements.
