Teens on the lam nabbed after car thefts in Maryland
Two 16 year old males from Baltimore and Washington DC escaped Maple Run Youth Camp in Flintstone then stole a 1989 Chevrolet Celebrity in Cumberland. They were later caught by state troopers in Frederick at 1 30 a.m. attempting to steal a 1995 Honda from an apartment complex off Butterfly Lane. The teens had stolen cars in Cumberland and abandoned one on I 70 while trying more thefts. They were found inside the Honda drinking wine and champagne.

Cool-headed daughter helps dad treat punctured artery
Walkersville man punctured an artery at Fort Detrick batting cages while clearing jammed softballs. His 11-year-old daughter Rachael calmly fashioned a tourniquet, applied pressure, and guided him 200 yards to care. Fire and EMS took him to Frederick Memorial Hospital for four stitches.
