Bethesda motorcyclist killed in Wisconsin Avenue crash
A 25 year old Bethesda man, Michael Joseph McLaughlin of Bradley Boulevard, died after a motorcycle collision with a car entering Wisconsin Avenue from Highland Avenue near 11 15 p m. He was transported to Suburban Hospital where he died. The driver, Michelle Marie Miernicki of Ellicott City, is charged with failure to yield at a stop sign and failure to render aid. Investigators say the Pontiac Firebird struck him, dragging him under a Mitsubishi for a block before the driver realized what happened.

Grand jury probes child abuse in Frederick County
