The collection broadened from American works to medieval, Byzantine and Renaissance pieces, later expanding with Roman sculpture and Italianate galleries. Henry’s bequests enriched the City of Baltimore collection, leading to a 1974 wing addition and public museum opening. Mark R Brockman wins regional art award at Martinsburg show with works including Web of Life and Blowing In, honoring juror choice.
