Orlov pleads innocent as Moscow trial opens
Yuri Orlov a 53 year old physicist and founder of a dissident group pleaded innocent in a Moscow court to anti-Soviet agitation and propaganda charges Tass reported. Orlov agreed with the indictment facts but not the interpretation. His wife and two sons attended. others were barred. Two Georgian branch founders also went on trial in Tbilisi pleading guilty and facing similar penalties including labor camp and internal exile.
