Fountaindale request approved by Frederick County planners
Frederick County Planning Commission approved a reclassification for Fountaindale near Middletown to allow a 300000 gallon water storage tank and expansion of the sewer plant to 200000 gpd. The vote endorsed a text amendment on access to weather roads, with action continued for public advertising. Opposition cited data gaps and potential visual impact on the tank. The County Commissioners will review, with state agencies retaining final permit authority.
