May Meeting of V F W Auxiliary Held in Frederick
The May meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars John Webb Post 085 met at the post home west of Frederick with President Mrs Ernestine Murray in the chair. Reports noted illness visits to Newton Baker Hospital and plans for child welfare events, a rummage sale, and installation of officers. Delegates were named for the Department Encampment in Baltimore and Seventh District meeting in Emmitsburg. Refreshments followed. several civic items and upcoming trips were discussed.
