Hood plans a commencement schedule from June 16 through June 20 announcing 33 graduates. Rev Dr Barbour will deliver the sermon at Ferry Orator. Future classes are expected to be much larger than this year’s cohort.
Hood College organizes a full commencement week with musical recital in Broadbeck Hall on Saturday, a Sunday Baccalaureate service by Rev C A Barbour, athletic events, art exhibit, senior play Little Women, Alumnae events, class day and reunions, commencement concert featuring Viola Brodbeck and others, followed by a commencement address by President Frederick C. Fermí of Hamilton College and a campus luncheon and assembly in Broadbeck Hall.
Preparations surge for Hood College thirtieth commencement June 16 to 20 with a Baccalaureate sermon June 16 by Rev. C A Barbour D D in the college chapel. Exercises include diplomas on June 24 at 10 45 with a main address by Frederick C Ferry Hamilton College Clinton N Y. A class reunion and recognition of the class of 1898 feature the week.
