Baltimore and New York killings linked to drugs and cartel
Baltimore authorities refused to confirm The Sun report tying the 1991 killings of John Shotto and Raymond Nicholson to the 1990s slaying of New York anti drug journalist Manuel de Dios Unanue. The Sun cited unnamed federal sources claiming the Cali cartel ordered both murders. Shotto allegedly skimmed cartel funds for ship refits.
